SC Lifted Class - Lesson 4

I am sharing the layout I made for Lesson 4 of the Lifted Class at Studio Calico. I made another 8 1/2 x 11 layout - I am definitely enjoying this size! The layout for this lesson was by Kelly Noel. She is definitely one of my favorite scrapbookers - her style is great, as well as her photography. I basically lifted her layout - If you are taking the class, you can see that my layout is fairly similar to hers in a lot of ways.  (If you aren't taking the class, it was in the sneaks so click here to see a peak - hers is in the middle, the theme one.)

I mainly used the Studio Calico Double Scoop kit for my layout. I really like how you can pull soft or bold colors from the kit.

I loved the "I solemnly swear I am up to no good" stamp set from the SC Add-On Big Dipper but had just not used it yet. I thought it went pretty good with this picture of Eli sitting in a pile of toilet paper that he just pulled off the roll. We basically could not keep toilet paper on the holder when he was this age. I have multiple pictures of him just taking the whole thing off. Luckily, Max was not as interested in this - however, he tends to destroy other things so I guess he has plenty to keep him busy :)

I changed the picture to black and white because the colors were not the best and I wanted to use softer colors. The stamp is embossed with white embossing powder. The woodgrain paper is from SC's Christmas line from last year - Wonderland. I found a pack of 25 sheets for $2 at Tuesday Morning so I snatched it up! I love the dark woodgrain and the other side is a great pattern, as well.

Hope you had a great Thursday - thanks for stopping by!
Megan
