I am missing a few pictures, so I just have notes where the pictures will go once I receive them. For some reason, they did not get downloaded with this batch of pictures, so I am waiting to get them from Snapfish. All Pocket Pages are Design A unless noted below. Also, I mainly am using the Cobalt Core Kit and the Cobalt Cardstock. If you have any questions about other supplies you see, feel free to ask.

This page has a few pictures of Eli I took one day that I really liked but not all really had a "story" behind them. I decided to showcase them as 3 mini layouts and on the 4th layout write about some things Eli was doing/starting to do in January. I think this will be great to do each month so I plan to include this type of page monthly. I did the same thing for Max, which is on the back of this layout.

Well that is all my pages for January. I am guessing this will be the only time I am done with my whole month on the Tuesday after the month ends as I return to work from maternity leave on Friday...but we will see. Also, I had a post about how I am organizing my Project Life supplies that you can see HERE. As I am being kind of a minimalist with this project, if you have a lot of Project Life supplies to organize, you can check out these blogs that have some great ideas:

LOVE all of your pages, Megan! I see you're in Nashville! Yay! Thanks for linking up on my blog! BIG hugs to you!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It is great to see others in Nashville doing PL!
DeleteWow that was a lot to get done at once! Since you mentioned Snapfish, I am assuming you did a big order and got almost the entire month's photos at one time. How did you keep things straight as to what went where? I think I'd have that problem if I tried to do so many weeks at once. I did enjoy seeing how you used the Design E pages for Eli and Max. I have a couple of those and haven't decided how to incoroprate them.
ReplyDeletePS: All those little baby boy pictures are so precious, it was fun to see some similar poses and looks as the ones my six month old gives me.
I actually don't really plan it out. I just export the pictures I want to a separate folder using Picasa. Then I determine which ones I want to be 3x4 by just kind of "eye-balling" it. I ended up with some leftover pictures that I didn't use but that is fine with me. I actually have planned out a few weeks at a time in 2011 when I did it weekly. Then I just drew a diagram of the page protectors and made a note as to what picture went where. And yes - I love my boys and the expressions they make as babies are so cute! Thanks for reading!
DeleteHi Megan! Your pages look great & I'm so inspired by how much you got done. Loved looking at your pages & what a nice surprise to get to the end and see you link to my blog about PL organization...Thank you so much! I love Leena over at Finding Nana too!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week & can't wait to see more from you!
Thanks Julie! I am sure my progress will decrease as I go back to work but I am hoping to keep it up. That is mainly why I did the monthly approach. I tried to keep up with it weekly last year and got most of it done but was updating about every 8 weeks or so.
