Scrap Our Stash Challenge - Awesome Bike

I am sharing a layout of my son, Eli, that I made for the Scrap Our Stash Challenge this month. The Challenge #8 was to pick three items in a row from the following tic-tac-toe board:

My layout covers the 3+ buttons, decorative pins and wood veneers. Here is my layout:

I used a lot of My Mind's Eye Boy Crazy on this layout - a perfect collection for boy pages.

I lined up my photo on the right edge of the paper. I have been wanting to try that design (where the photo touches the edge) for awhile and finally thought I had a picture where it worked pretty well.

I colored the Studio Calico Wood Veneer bikes with Prima Chalk Fluid Edger inks - love these inks!

And the journaling...kids can be so funny!

Hope you are having a good week - Thanks for stopping by!

Project Life Friday & Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! Today, I am sharing a week of Project Life. This week, I just did one 12x12 page instead  of a spread. When I haven't taken a lot of pictures, this is what I normally do - or if I want to get a week done quickly. I mostly used the Studio Calico Antiquary Card kit (probably my favorite card kit so far!) and the Antiquary 4x6 pad. I really love the 4x6 pads. The paper is thick - thicker than normal patterned paper - and no cutting involved if you slide it into a 4x6 pocket.

Also, I am going to share some of my favorite printables for Project Life today. I print these at home on my Epson Artisan 730 printer on Epson Matte Presentation Paper and get really good results. I have heard that others print at Staples and like the results as well if you are looking for somewhere to print.  Here they are:

In a Creative Bubble - Hello Fall Circle Tags

These are super cute and can be cut with a 1 inch and 2 inch circle punches. Geralyn is the designer and she also has coordinating journal cards and tags and labels.

Studio Calico - Thataway printable from A Creative Bubble

This is also designed by Geralyn from A Creative Bubble. I actually have not bought this set but have a few that are similar and I love using them to add just a little to my PL pages.

One Little Bird - Stargazer Journaling Cards

These are super cute and coordinate well with Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm if you have any of that in your stash.

Paislee Press & One Little Bird - Dayplanner Journaling Cards

These are a classic design and coordinate with a lot of different collections.

Two Peas Digital Designs - Free

I haven't actually printed any of these but they are really cute and free :)

Banafish Studio - Paperclip flags

Another cute and free one!

I am linking up at The Mom Creative -

I hope you are having an enjoyable Friday. I should be back in the next day or two sharing some layouts.

Thanks for stopping by -

Moving, Working and hopefully now back to "Normal"

Hi all - I haven't blogged much in the last month or two as we sold our house, moved and was in the middle of my busiest time at work. I am hoping that now that October 15th is behind us that now my life can get back to "normal" and I can start blogging again some more.

Even though I haven't been blogging, I have been crafting. I have made a few layouts, some cards and finished up some weeks in Project Life. I hope to share a lot of these over the next few weeks. Here is one layout I made:

I actually started this layout with the Scraptastic I found a boy kit. The colors I used are softer than the overall look of that kit but the papers came from that kit. I don't do well with just keeping to kits but I do enjoy them as a jumping off point.

In this picture, you can really tell that Max's eyes have the same shape of my husband's so I decided to document that on the page. Both of their right eyes open a little less than the left...

The supplies on this page came from various places - a lot from Michaels as well as some Studio Calico kits. If you have questions about any particular item, feel free to ask.

I hope you have a great Friday!
